The purpose of this website is to help me to learn about my family, my ancestors, their journeys, and their families. Moreover, by publishing this genealogy, I intend to provide it to others who may be interested in the history of the individuals listed in these pages. Through my inquiries posted on the Internet, I have been fortunate to meet several individuals — distant cousins — whom I did not previously know. I am indebted to them for their help, for sharing the results of their own genealogical studies, for their encouragement, and — most of all — for their friendship.
