4. | Joel THOMAS was born in 1787 in Pennsylvania, United States; died in 1878 in Marshall, Parke, Indiana, United States. Notes: I do not really know who William Henry's father was. I have William because that is what is in the family history that has been passed down. But I've asked around and NO ONE knows where that information came from. I also have found several errors in the same history concerning William & Polly's kids, so I highly suspect the name of William Henry's father could easily be wrong. In the 1880 census, William Henry lists his father's birthplace as Maine. According to family stories that have been handed down, he was born in Holland. So which is right? Joel married Elender BOUSMAN on 10 Aug 1806 in Champaign County, Ohio, United States. Elender was born about 1788 in Virginia; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart] |
